In this role you will:

  • Build and coach multiple high performing agile individuals and squads on agile mindsets and behaviours in a way that ensures full team engagement.
  • Find ways to strengthen team’s understanding of Agile using a blend of processes such as Scrum, Kanban, Systems Thinking and OKRs.
  • Build an end-to-end value driving mindset for cross-functional squads.
  • Able to tease out root problem(s) from stakeholders and leading the analysis of problems/solutions
  • Capture requirements and translate them into detailed user stories for the engineering team, using the INVEST principle (or similar)
  • Gain a deep understanding of business domains and act as the SME and stakeholder proxy to the engineering team, influencing and managing the scope of engineering work in line with the business priorities
  • Work iteratively with stakeholders focusing on critical functionality with scope built-in for flexibility to refine requirements through iterative development
  • Work as part of an agile development team and participate in agile rituals
  • Prioritise and maintain the backlog for assigned projects, balancing the requirements of stakeholders
  • Work well in a team environment to facilitate scope management, quality and timeliness
  • Get to work with our different engineering squads, experiencing all parts of our vast eCommerce platform
  • Efficiently work across multiple projects across all stages of the software delivery lifecycle
  • Drive the focus on shipping to production as quickly as possible, using data to identify, escalate and improve delivery bottlenecks to ensure our software delivery flows efficiently
  • Accurately report on progress of tasks and projects, keeping in continual communication with project teams and management about project progress, issues and other relevant items.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience as a Business Analyst, with a solid understanding of all aspects of the agile software development cycle.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to run workshops, showcases and to communicate effectively with engineers and other stakeholders across the organization.
  • Experimental & super motivated to try something new and not be afraid to suggest it.
  • Developed analytical skills including ability to interpret business needs and develop appropriate technical solutions.
  • Ability to understand and document technical requirements.
  • Developed problem solving skills and ability to think creatively.
  • Ability to effectively manage competing stakeholder priorities and objectives
  • Work productively in a fast paced and agile environment.
