About the Role
We’re looking for a talented Business Analyst to join our Cyber Security Resilience and Uplift Program (Program Ascent). In this role, you’ll contribute to critical projects within the Information and Cyber Security domain. You’ll help shape the future of security systems and ensure their smooth implementation across the organization. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a transformative program within a forward-thinking company.
Day-to-day, you will:
- Contribute to all stages of the project lifecycle, from defining scope and requirements to developing operational procedures and implementing and configuring solutions.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand needs and facilitate negotiations on scope and requirements.
- Analyse current business processes and systems to establish a baseline for change and improvement.
- Support the development and implementation of business change strategies and track benefits realisation.
- Develop and validate functional specifications, including use-cases, data migration rules, and wireframes.
- Lead Production Verification Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to help ensure successful delivery and deployment of solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Cyber Security subject matter experts, project managers, vendors, and supporting technology and business teams, to ensure the delivery of successful outcomes and benefits.
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:
- Proven experience in business analysis within a technology or security context.
- A strong ability to engage stakeholders and drive consensus across diverse groups.
- Knowledge of business process modelling and systems development life cycle.
- Knowledge of systems development methodologies, including both waterfall and agile approaches.
- Ability to work independently and be comfortable with navigating through ambiguity effectively.
If you meet some of these requirements, but not all, we encourage you to submit your application.
We offer a range of flexible working and leave options, so you can balance your work and life commitments and interests. Have a conversation with us about how this could work for you.
We embrace diversity with a foundation of safety, wellbeing, and inclusion, where everyone belongs. We treat everyone with fairness, consideration, and respect, regardless of gender, gender identity, marital or family status, sexual orientation, age, ethnicity, religious beliefs, cultural or socio-economic background, perspective, and experience – whether they work for us or not. We want to ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe to express ideas, questions, and concerns.
We strongly encourage applications from candidates of diverse backgrounds and lived experiences, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and people living with disability.
