Hitachi Energy's Grid Integration business unit has delivered more than 4,000 projects over the last 15 years. Our Grid Integration portfolio spans a wide range of transmission and substation applications, which facilitate reliable and efficient system integration of the future digital electric network with minimum environmental impact. We incorporate the integrated systems, solutions and services of our business' DC and AC fields, including HVDCSubstationsFACTS, Grid and Power Quality solutions such as offshore wind connections, and Semiconductors. We offer Power Consulting for key segments in the energy system, such as renewables, transmission distribution and as well as e-transportation solutions.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a high-impact Business Analyst to join the Asia Hub team, acting as a strategic partner to the Asia Hub Manager and Asia Management Team. This role goes beyond traditional market analysis and will play a central role in shaping and enabling business and market strategy across Asia. You will contribute to defining go-to-market approaches, organizational positioning, and alignment with the global organization, while ensuring these concepts are clearly translated into actionable insights and communication materials for internal stakeholders. You will operate at the intersection of strategy, execution, and communication, helping drive clarity, consistency, and alignment across the region and with global business units.

How you'll make an impact:

  • You will support the Asia Hub Manager and Management Team in developing, refining, and executing regional business strategies while translating global priorities into actionable local initiatives.

  • You will drive go-to-market strategies and market intelligence by tracking customer trends, monitoring competitive dynamics, and identifying new growth opportunities.

  • You will enhance organizational positioning and alignment, ensuring the Asia Hub integrates effectively with global business units and operates on an optimized regional model.

  • You will lead executive communication and storytelling, transforming complex strategy and data into compelling presentations, strategy documents, and internal communications.

  • You will deliver consistent, accessible messaging across diverse audiences to align regional efforts with global corporate standards.

  • You will conduct structured market and competitive analyses, evaluating demand drivers and competitor positioning to provide fact-based recommendations for leadership decision-making.

  • You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • Experience in business analysis, strategy, or market intelligence within a multinational and cross-functional environment.

  • A strategic thinker with strong analytical and synthesis capabilities, able to operate fluidly at both conceptual and practical levels.

  • Strong ability to connect complex data, strategy, and execution into clear, actionable narratives.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.

  • A strong collaborator, comfortable working with senior leadership and adept at influencing stakeholders through structured insights.

    A high-ownership mindset with sharp attention to detail and a commitment to clarity in all deliverables.
