Job Description

Are you passionate about driving innovation in energy solutions? We’re looking for a talented and experienced Senior Analyst to support our cutting-edge Behind the Meter (BtM) initiatives. In this role, you’ll work across a diverse and collaborative program that spans marketing, legal, field services operations, customer sales & service, technology, and product management.

You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of energy by helping deliver integrated BtM solutions that include solar, battery storage, EV charging, and more making a real impact on how customers manage and consume energy.

Your role will include;

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document detailed requirements for Behind-the-Meter (BtM) projects, including energy load management and integration initiatives.
  • Develop comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories to support solution design and delivery.
  • Design and prepare User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans, including test cases and scenarios, based on business requirements and process flows.
  • Coordinate and support UAT activities, covering functional, integration, and regression testing, ensuring thorough validation of solutions.
  • Proactively identify issues and risks, and work closely with BtM and technology teams to troubleshoot and resolve them efficiently.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, developers, project managers, and external vendors to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of end-to-end BtM and Enreal solutions.
  • Provide input into user interface design, system architecture, and usability enhancements based on user feedback and testing outcomes.
  • Document current and future-state business processes, identify gaps, and actively participate in requirements and design review sessions.
  • Support the evaluation and selection of software solutions and vendors aligned with BtM project objectives.
  • Deliver training sessions and support materials to end-users to facilitate adoption of new systems and business processes.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to BtM and energy management.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, promoting innovation and efficiency across the organisation.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Over 10 years of experience as a Senior Product or Business Analyst, with a strong focus on business-led initiatives involving new product development, IT integration, and implementation.
  • Proven expertise in developing comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), user stories, and functional specifications.
  • Skilled in designing and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including the creation of test plans and test cases, and conducting UAT on behalf of business stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with energy load management and Behind-the-Meter (BtM) projects, including integration of solar systems, battery storage, electric vehicle (EV) chargers, hot water systems, and pool equipment is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively within hybrid program environments, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional and diverse teams.
  • Proficient in using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Confluence, SharePoint, or equivalent platforms.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks and standards relevant to energy management and IT project delivery.
