At Arc’teryx, we exist to inspire a life outside. Built in the mountains and designed for performance, we create products and experiences that connect people to the outdoors and to each other.

We’re looking for a strategic and culturally connected Brand Communications Manager to lead how the Arc’teryx brand comes to life across Australia and New Zealand.

This is an opportunity to shape storytelling at one of the world’s most premium outdoor brands — leading integrated marketing across PR, social, creative, content and brand management to build relevance, community connection and long-term growth.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will lead and develop a multi-disciplinary Brand Marketing team spanning Brand Management, PR, Social Media and Creative & Content. As the brand leader for ANZ, you will be responsible for building team capability, elevating to global standards, integrating cross-functional marketing disciplines and fostering a high-performance culture that delivers both brand and commercial outcomes.

From product storytelling and community moments to social-first campaigns and earned media, you’ll drive the work that shapes how consumers experience the brand across every touchpoint.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead the Brand Marketing function across Brand Management, PR, Social Media, Creative & Content
  • Drive culturally relevant and commercially impactful storytelling across all consumer touchpoints
  • Develop integrated brand and communications strategies that strengthen brand awareness, engagement and growth
  • Lead omnichannel campaigns across digital, social, retail, PR, media and community channels
  • Champion social-first and earned-first marketing approaches that spark visibility, conversation and community connection
  • Inspire, mentor and develop a high-performing marketing team
  • Partner with regional and global stakeholders to bring product and brand storytelling to life within ANZ
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across retail, merchandising, commercial and sport marketing teams
  • Identify opportunities to amplify storytelling through partnerships, ambassadors, talent, events and community engagement
  • Lead agency relationships across PR, creative, media, social and production partners
  • Oversee campaign budgets, forecasting and operational planning across the Brand Marketing function
  • Ensure strong prioritisation and delivery across multiple campaigns and business priorities
What You Bring
  • Significant experience within premium apparel, sport, outdoor, lifestyle or culturally connected brands
  • Proven leadership across brand marketing, PR, social media and creative/content functions
  • Strong social-first, earned-first and omnichannel marketing capability
  • Experience leading high-performing teams and navigating complex stakeholder environments
  • A strategic and collaborative mindset, with strong communication and campaign delivery skills
  • Experience managing agencies, budgets and integrated marketing campaigns
  • 8+ years’ experience in brand marketing, communications or integrated marketing leadership roles
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, PR or a related field
  • A genuine passion for the outdoors and living the brand authentically
What you'll love working here:
  • Generous product discounts across Arc’teryx and affiliated Amer Sports brands
  • Competitive salary package and bonus opportunity
  • Real career growth and development pathways within a global business
  • Access to free mental health and wellbeing support through our Employee Assistance Program
  • Ongoing training, leadership development, and learning opportunities
  • Be part of a passionate, purpose-led team that loves the outdoors

If you’re ready to lead bold storytelling, build cultural relevance and create work that connects deeply with communities, we’d love to hear from you.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
