About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Billing & Revenue Operations Manager to lead and scale our billing operations while remaining deeply hands-on with day-to-day execution. This role requires a strong blend of people leadership, operational rigor, and technical billing expertise. You will own billing accuracy end-to-end, manage a high-performing billing team, and act as a trusted partner to Sales, Finance, and Executive stakeholders particularly for enterprise customers.


What You'll DoBilling & Revenue Operations
  • Own and oversee end-to-end customer billing across SMB and enterprise accounts, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Actively perform hands-on billing activities, including complex invoicing, adjustments, credits, and reconciliations.
  • Manage subscription lifecycle events including new activations, amendments, renewals, upgrades/downgrades, and cancellations.
  • Ensure accurate revenue recognition inputs in collaboration with the Financial controls team.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve billing discrepancies and escalations efficiently.
Systems & Tools
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Salesforce and Chargebee, ensuring clean data flow and alignment between systems.
  • Partner with Business Automation and Finance teams to support scalable billing workflows and automation.
  • Support system enhancements, testing, and process documentation related to billing and revenue operations.
Team Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a billing team, providing day-to-day guidance and performance feedback.
  • Set clear expectations, define billing standards, and ensure consistent execution across the team.
  • Review team outputs and remain accountable for overall billing quality and accuracy.
  • Step in as needed to handle workload peaks and high-risk billing activities.

About You
  • 7–8 years of experience in Billing, Revenue Operations, or Finance Operations.
  • Proven experience managing or leading a billing team.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce and Chargebee (or similar subscription billing platforms).
  • Demonstrated experience handling enterprise-level customers and complex billing structures.
  • Relevant qualification: CA/CPA or equivalent accounting degree 
  • Process improvement, automation, demonstrated proven transformations experience.
  • Deep understanding of subscription billing models, usage-based billing, and contract-driven billing.
  • High attention to detail with a strong ownership mindset for billing accuracy.
  • Ability to operate comfortably at both strategic and execution levels.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior leaders and executives.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and prioritisation skills.
