About the role

In this newly created position, you will play a key part in supporting the firm’s growth. This is a great opportunity for an individual to make an immediate impact on firm-wide efficiencies, while growing their bid management skills within a supportive team of proposals, business development and sales specialists.

  • Providing strategic input into tender responses, including the development of pricing strategies and value propositions.
  • Running robust go/no-go discussions prior to client pursuits.
  • Facilitating tender debriefs with bid teams and, when appropriate, clients.
  • Enhancing bid management processes, technology, templates, content and credentials through Salesforce and a brand management platform.

Skills and experience

  • End-to-end bid management experience is essential.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience, preferably within professional services or a B2B environment. Experience in BD, communications and/or marketing will be taken into consideration. As a team, we believe in applying transferrable skills for long-term career development.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong writer with the ability to translate technical services and solutions into plain language.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
