Job Description

Our Behind the Meter (BtM) team is at the forefront of innovation, delivering smart products and services to businesses (B2B) and, through them, to their customers (B2B2C). We turn market insights and customer needs into strategy, driving product promotion and aligning with the Growth Markets team to amplify impact. Using multi‑channel tactics, we generate leads, nurture strong client relationships, and fuel revenue growth all while building awareness and engagement that power Intellihub’s success.

Your role

We’re looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. In this pivotal role, you’ll turn complex data into clear insights that shape strategy, customer experience, and product success. You’ll collect and transform data across multiple systems, ensure accuracy, and apply smart analysis to guide decisions that drive growth and performance.

Your Key Accountabilities

  • Deliver regular and ad hoc reporting for leadership and board-level presentations with meaningful commentary and strategic insights.
  • Build automate and maintain intuitive dashboards and reporting tools to track BTM performance, customer engagement, operational efficiency, compliance requirements and financial metrics.
  • Analysing customer behaviour and feedback to uncover trends and insights that drive product, marketing, and service improvements.
  • Provide clear, actionable recommendations to cross-functional teams (product, marketing, operations) based on data insights.
  • Deliver regular and ad hoc reporting for leadership and board-level presentations with meaningful commentary and strategic insights.
  • Measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, pricing tests, onboarding journeys, and retention strategies.
  • Work with IT and product teams to integrate data from the CRM, billing platform, installation systems, and other related platforms into unified reports.
  • Leverage commercial models to project BTM growth, revenue, and operational needs under different scenarios.
  • Ensure accuracy and reliability of reporting by identifying data discrepancies and driving resolution processes.
  • Advocate for and support data literacy across the BTM team, training stakeholders on reporting tools and metrics interpretation.

Qualifications

You’re a sharp Business Intelligence or Commercial Analyst with a talent for turning data into stories. More than just crunching numbers, you uncover insights that drive action. Confident and articulate, you present complex analysis in clear, compelling ways to senior stakeholders, influencing decisions and shaping business success. 

About you

  • An articulate and influential communicator with a track record of leading reporting and data programs that support strategic decision-making at the executive level
  • The ability to thrive on solving problems through data and have the curiosity to dig beneath the surface to find meaningful answers.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, and business intelligence tools such as Power BI. Working knowledge of Hubspot or other CRMs is a plus. PostgreSQL SQL proficiency, particularly in JSONB manipulation and event reconstruction would also help with building views of the customer’s journey
  • Ability to connect data insights to real-world outcomes and align reporting with strategic business goals.
  • Capable of presenting complex data in clear, concise ways to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Precision matters in your work every number, chart, and insight is double-checked and purposeful.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Works well with cross-functional teams and contributes to a positive, solution-focused culture.
  • Degree in Commerce, Business or Technology
