About the Role

The Automation Administrator, Microsoft contributes to the success of the firm by working closely with IT and internal stakeholders to analyse business processes and design, implement, and support automation solutions. This role supports the governance, operation, and continuous improvement of automation platforms (including Microsoft Power Platform/Power Platform Centre of Excellence and Nintex), and partners with vendors and the business to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient automations and integrations.

As a member of the M365 Product team, the Automation Administrator, Microsoft helps mature the firm’s automation capability, balancing delivery of new solutions with platform stability, security, and governance.

About You

The Automation Administrator, Microsoft is responsible for the administration, support, and continuous improvement of the firm’s automation platforms, including Microsoft Power Platform (with Centre of Excellence practices) and Nintex. The role acts as an operational owner for assigned automation capabilities, ensuring environments are secure, reliable, well-configured, and governed to enable scalable delivery.

Working closely with service lines, IT teams, citizen developers, and vendors, the Automation Administrator, Microsoft supports safe adoption, optimises existing automations, and delivers measurable efficiency and quality improvements through well-designed solutions and integrations.

Qualifications

  • IT related degree preferred or relevant certifications

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a relevant field (automation, low-code platforms, application administration, or similar).

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform and/or Nintex technologies; exposure to AI capabilities in business contexts is desirable.

Skills

  • Experience using Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft 365 technologies.

  • Proven delivery of Power Apps and Power Automations (administration, configuration, customisation, integration, testing, and deployment).

  • Experience with Nintex technologies.

  • Working knowledge of AI technologies and their practical business applications.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle, including change control and release practices.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and independently as required.

  • Demonstrated capability with current digital technologies and a commitment to continuously exploring and learning new tools.

  • Ability to research options and contribute ideas to improve both platform governance and automation solutions to business problems.
