If you're working towards becoming a Financial Adviser and want a clear development pathway, this role could be your next step. Based in Mildura, you'll join a close-knit team that puts people at the heart of what we do — and we're looking for someone client-focused, motivated, and keen to learn.

Working under the mentorship of our Wealth Partners, you'll build the skills and experience to progress towards an Adviser role. You'll be a key point of contact for client queries and support the advice process, with increasing autonomy and ownership of client relationships over time.

Your role, your contribution

An overview of your day-to-day responsibilities follows:

  • Proactively communicate with clients and identify how Findex can best meet their needs
  • Support your Advisers/Partners in providing strategic financial planning and investment advice, including investment structures, estate planning, superannuation and retirement planning
  • Prepare pre-appointment work and take part in client meetings with Advisers/Partners
  • Ensure advice documents are compliant with industry legislation, regulation, and Findex policies and procedures
  • Coordinate production of advice documentation and help prepare SOAs

What you bring to the role

  • FASEA approved degree
  • Diploma or Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning qualified, or equivalent
  • An interest in achieving or studying towards CFP
  • Proven experience in a similar Financial Planning role
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise your workload
  • The ability to work and thrive in a team environment
