As Associate Operations Analyst, you will be part of the Corporate Actions and Asset Maintenance Team and focus on providing clients the best service possible.
You will be responsible for supporting the Investment Advisers and Associates in processing corporate action events, dividend entitlements, asset set up, maintenance and pricing.
This position is a 12-month fixed term contract.
Your Responsibilities
Daily reporting, reconciliations and checklist completion
Processing and managing all corporate action events, including
income events (dividends, income, distributions). advising on rights issues, open offers, conversions, redemptions tender offers, bonus issues and consolidationsEstablishing control records for each corporate action
Processing new asset setup and maintenance of existing assets, ensuring
accurate reporting, timely pricing feeds and correct tax treatment applies.Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure events are effectively monitored
Liaise with custodians and business partners
Adherence to Corporate Risk Policy, SOPs, legislation and regulatory requirements
About You
Completed or working towards a degree in Finance, Business or Commerce
Some experience within client service environment
Some experience within a data entry/administrative role
A good understanding and knowledge of Australian Financial Markets desirable
