Our Major Client Group division (also known as Corporate Bank elsewhere) is designed specifically to look after our largest and most complex customers who typically have debt requirements in excess of $50m and/or turnover in excess of $150m. Our customers operate a diverse range of businesses (across the retail, wholesale, manufacturing and/or transport sectors) and include both private and public companies (including some of Australia’s Top 500 listed companies) as well as companies which are owned by private equity firms.

Are you currently working in finance or accounting and looking for a new challenge? Do you want to work in collaborate team that is afforded opportunities to work on the most complex of transactions and that builds relationships with some of Australia’s most well-known brands?

As an Associate/Senior Associate within Major Client Group, you will assist our Directors with their customers’ financing needs and be responsible for preparing credit submissions and monitoring ongoing performance. Specifically, your role will involve:

  • Preparing credit submissions for both new to bank and existing customers (including applications for new facilities, increases to existing facilities and/or term extensions)

  • Completing covenant monitoring and annual reviews for existing customers

  • Working closely with other stakeholders within the business.

We want to hear from you if you have:

  • Prior experience in a similar role, or a financial accounting background involving client interactions.

  • Prior exposure to a diversified portfolio of customers and cash flow lending.

  • A good understanding of financial statements.   

  • Customer service experience ideally in a commercial or business banking environment.

  • Great stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance and/or Commerce.
