Our Major Client Group (MCG) team (also known as Corporate Bank elsewhere) is designed specifically to look after our largest and most complex customers who typically have debt requirements in excess of $50m and/or turnover in excess of $150m. Our customers operate a diverse range of businesses (across the retail, wholesale, manufacturing and/or transport sectors) and include both private and public companies (including some of Australia’s Top 500 listed companies) as well as companies which are owned by private equity firms.  

 

The Client Acquisition Team (CA) is the new to bank business development group that supports Major Client Group. This area acts as the conduit for new to bank customers for all financial services. CA’s focus is on large private companies or Publicly Listed businesses.

 

Do the work that matters

 

You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative team where we work together to drive continual success. Your role will involve writing complex credit papers and will enable you to put your cashflow analysis skills to the test!

 

You will provide quality and timely credit outcomes (including complex financial analysis and credit structuring) to complex corporate customers, identify market trends, and accurately assess the risk profile of customers. You will be instrumental in driving a timely outcome on complex transactions and provide coaching and mentoring to your analyst peers.

 

More specifically, you will:

 

  • Assess the viability and coordinate the execution of transactions.
  • Undertake credit analysis, financial modelling, and produce credit applications.
  • Support the Client Acquisition and wider Major Client Group relationship teams on specific finance transactions through structured credit and financial modelling.
  • Prepare and present pitches to potential clients including board level, business owners and senior management teams.
  • Assist the broader relationship team with in life requests as and when required. 

 

We want to hear from you if:

 

  • You are experienced in credit assessment for cashflow lending transactions.
  • Have strong Excel skills and experience in financial modelling.
  • Possess the ability to quickly grasp complex transactions.
  • Are a team player who is willing to mentor and coach peers.
  • You are experienced with APLMA documentation/ Facility Agreements will be considered favourably.
  • Have the commitment to team success, goal orientation with a can-do attitude.
  • Possess a tertiary qualification in Business/Finance and/or Commerce.
