Responsibilities and Impact:
- Plan and execute marketing strategies, with a focus on Australia and New Zealand markets to build product awareness, generate leads, and build profile for the S&P Dow Jones Indices, the S&P/ASX, and the S&P/NZX brand as the leading independent consultative index solutions provider and as a pioneer in indexing concepts.
- Collaborate and expand the partnership with key clients and exchanges in Australia and New Zealand to promote investment themes and investable products based on S&P DJI indices, the S&P/ASX indices, and the S&P/NZX indices to drive revenue to the business.
- Work closely with our client coverage team, product manager, index investment strategies, and R&D to strategize account-based marketing collaboration with clients on the ground.
- Coordinate country specific activities including S&P DJI hosted and sponsored events, and thought leadership programs to support commercial partners in Australia & New Zealand
- Support our channel centric marketing efforts include e-mail marketing, digital advertising, social media, and events that target and cultivates defined audience segments through customized and actively monitored campaigns.
- Establish and maintain sustainable relationships with channel communities and associative bodies to build potential revenue.
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in English (both written and oral) is a must. Other languages will be a plus.
- Ability to think strategically, communicate effectively and execute proactively.
- Hands on experience planning and coordinating scalable in-person and online events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives.
- Results driven and customer focused with a proven track record of success in projects undertaken.
- Strong financial services knowledge and experience working in the Australian and New Zealand markets.
- Experience of investor education content creation for different investor types from institutional to general audiences.
- Familiar with digital marketing and social media tactics.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong level of autonomy to execute marketing plans and ability to work closely with clients and key partners and ensure strong profile for S&P Dow Jones Indices is built.
- Experience working within multinational corporations with a sensitivity to cultures and practices
- Willingness to participate in conference calls with overseas colleagues after regular business operating hours.
- Willingness to travel as required.
