CommBank’s Specialised Agribusiness Solutions (SAS) team is recruiting an Associate Director to join our team and work across complex transactions and facilities. This role will build genuine relationships which will help shape funding solutions for some of the largest and most innovative agribusinesses in Victoria and Tasmania.

The Role.

As Associate Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting and growing relationships with Corporate and Institutional agribusiness clients. Partnering closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll identify opportunities, shape tailored solutions and help clients navigate both domestic and international opportunities.
This role will give you valuable exposure, and is a highly commercial, client-facing opportunity where you will help structure and execute bespoke financing solutions. You'll have direct client exposure, autonomy to drive outcomes, and the opportunity to partner across the full product suite including Transaction Banking, Global Markets and Debt Products.
This role will include occasional travel to new and existing clients to build trust, deepen the working relationship and help solve challenges that are facing our clients.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and execute relationship strategies to support existing and grow a high‑value corporate agribusiness portfolio
• Build deep insight into your clients’ businesses, industries, and ambitions
• Play a critical role preparing credit submissions, annual reviews, and credit correspondence
• Analyse client and industry data to identify key financial drivers and develop solution‑led initiatives
• Deliver first‑class relationship management and client support
• Partner with Analysts, providing clear direction and quality inputs to enable strong credit outcomes
