  • Produce technical drawings, documentation, and material specifications with attention to detail.
  • Conduct site visits, manage RFIs, and support construction administration.
  • Contribute fresh ideas to enhance design standards and support inclusive, creative workplaces.

About You:

  • 10–12+ years’ experience in interior design or architecture, with a focus on corporate interiors.
  • Strong leadership skills: experience managing teams and mentoring junior staff.
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit; additional design software is a plus.
  • Expertise in technical drawings, FF&E, detailing, and construction processes.
  • Experience working with diverse clients across industries (law, finance, entertainment, marketing, etc.).
  • Skilled in budget management, timelines, proposals, and client engagement.
  • Knowledgeable about building codes, sustainability practices, and workplace trends.
  • Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field (AIA, NCIDQ, LEED certifications are a bonus).

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
