The controlling department at Bosch provides accounting information to local management and regional business units to support strategic decision making. The department also acts as business partner to the business in order to ensure long term growth and sustainability across the organisation.

Job Description

We are currently offering an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as an Associate Accountant. The is a maximum-term, 18 month, full-time opportunity based at our headquarters in Clayton. This position requires the successful applicant to work from the office 4 days per week minimum.

Position responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts for cost centres including reporting
  • Performing actual to budget analysis and reporting of actual for cost centres
  • Invoicing of inter-company services
  • Preparing monthly reporting packs and associated reports for assigned business entities and provide insights
  • Assisting with reconciliation of KPIs for financial reporting
  • Preparing internal dealing schedule and transfer price documentation for assigned business entities
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvements in financial reporting and systems.
  • Preparing reports as may be required by management

Qualifications

We are looking for a conscientious professional with the ability to work across multiple business units, manage diverse topics and priorities, establish effective relationships across all levels of an organisation.

To be considered for this position you are required to meet the following criteria:

  • Degree in Accounting / Business
  • Demonstrated business / commercial experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (excel, PowerPoint)
  • SAP FI/CO module (COPA, ECPCA)
  • Power BI
  • HFM experiences preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal & presentation skills
  • Effective time management & organisational skills
