We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Analyst/ Assistant Manager or a Manager to join our Restructuring team in our Melbourne office.

 

As part of our Restructuring team, you will assist our clients to restore stability and maximise value through financial and operational challenges on restructuring, turnaround and insolvency engagements. Partnering with boards, management teams and financiers facing situations of financial distress, we quickly identify root causes, formulate turnaround strategies and implement value-maximising restructures. We advise companies across all industry sectors and business sizes.

What you will do

  • Work within a multi-disciplined team to deliver complex business turnaround, restructuring and insolvency assignments.
  • Execute day-to-day operational, capital and restructuring strategies.
  • Deal with key stakeholders, such as management, employees, creditors and investors.
  • Perform and oversee financial and commercial analysis to support key decisions and recommendations to our clients.
  • Apply industry and market knowledge to anticipate, identify and address issues relevant to our projects.
  • Manage and mentor junior staff in execution of tasks.
  • Maintain compliance with key risk management processes.
  • Participate in business development, including relationship development and opportunities research.

Who you are

  • Hold a University Degree in Business or related subject.
  • Have commenced the Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand membership.
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge appropriate for level.
  • Prior experience within a professional services environment.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong business and commercial acumen.
  • Ability to deal with sensitive matters confidentially and tactfully.
