About the Role

We're looking for a Application Specialist to join our Clinical Diagnostics team.

This is more than a support role. You'll be the technical expert customers rely on to solve complex challenges, lead critical incidents, and improve the performance of healthcare technology that directly impacts patient care.

You'll work closely with customers, Product, Delivery and Development teams, while mentoring Application Specialists and helping shape how we deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead the resolution of complex application issues and customer escalations.

  • Manage critical incidents and drive root cause analysis.

  • Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders.

  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and application expertise.

  • Partner with Product and Development teams to improve solutions and customer outcomes.

  • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational performance.

  • Mentor and support Application Specialists across the team.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the Clinical Diagnostics portfolio.

What You'll Bring

  • Significant experience in application support, technical support, healthcare technology, or a similar customer-facing technical role.

  • Laboratory experience within clinical diagnostics, pathology, healthcare or life sciences.

  • Strong understanding of laboratory workflows and diagnostic testing processes.

  • Experience managing complex customer issues, escalations and major incidents.

  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

  • Experience supporting LIMS, LIS, EMR or other healthcare applications.

  • Experience within diagnostics, pathology, healthcare technology or digital health.

  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence or ITIL-based service environments.
