About the role: This role will be working for our Mars Champion Petfoods segment, where we make life better for pets and their owners. The APAC Digital Marketing Manager leads the development and execution of Pet Lover–centric digital strategies across the region, owning the full digital ecosystem—from digital commerce and media, to SEO, CRM, social, and website—to drive brand engagement and business growth.
Role Title: APAC Digital Marketing Manager
Location: Melbourne, also open to Wodonga with regular travel to Melbourne
Hours: Full-time, Permanent – hybrid working
Reporting to: Market Strategy & Deployment Director
What you’ll do:
Drive digital commerce growth by developing APAC D-comm strategies, optimizing Perfect Digital Store execution, and partnering with channel owners to boost visibility and conversion.
Own the APAC digital ecosystem, managing websites, localization, SEO, and content to deliver a seamless, engaging experience for Pet Lovers.
Shape and optimize regional media strategy, partnering with global teams and agencies to drive awareness, cascade global campaigns, and lead search/SEO performance.
Lead APAC social and influencer marketing, managing brand channels, content agendas, community engagement, and influencer programs to strengthen brand affinity.
Activate first-party data and CRM strategies to deliver personalized engagement, support lifecycle marketing, and enable advocacy initiatives.
Leverage analytics and manage budgets to measure effectiveness, optimize digital touchpoints, and ensure smart, compliant allocation of A&CP investment.
Your unique ingredients:
A university degree in Marketing or a related field, with substantial digital marketing experience in CPG, retail, or pet care, with a strong grasp of APAC market dynamics.
Proven ability to manage digital platforms end-to-end, including CMS, SEO, and analytics.
Deep understanding of paid media, digital commerce, and social strategies that drive growth.
Hands-on experience partnering with influencers and content creators across APAC.
A data-driven mindset with strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
Excellent communicator and relationship-builder with solid budget management and ROI analysis capabilities.
A genuine passion for pets and the premium pet category is a strong plus.
