About Pattern
Pattern is a global ecommerce accelerator helping leading brands scale profitably across Amazon, marketplaces, and D2C channels. Our AI-powered technology, deep marketplace expertise, and worldwide logistics network enable brands such as Converse, The North Face, KONG, Evo and NAK to grow efficiently — and Pattern is the #1 Amazon seller globally. Pattern recently completed its IPO, marking an exciting new phase of growth and global expansion. We’re now expanding our Australian team and seeking an experienced, commercially minded Amazon Account Manager to help lead the next stage of our growth story.

The Role
As an Amazon Account Manager, you will own the commercial performance, strategic direction, and partner relationships for a portfolio of global brands. You’ll collaborate with expert teams across Amazon Advertising and SEO to deliver results that drive profitable marketplace growth. This role suits someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys solving complex challenges using data, and builds strong, trust-based relationships with partners.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead revenue and profit performance across Amazon and marketplaces through data-driven planning, seasonal strategies, NPD launches, and high-impact advertising.
  • Build and execute strategic joint business plans that align partner goals with marketplace opportunities.
  • Oversee marketplace content excellence — SEO-optimised copy, A+ content, imagery, and brand storytelling.
  • Work with our Advertising team to deliver efficient, high-performing advertising campaigns.
  • Analyse data from multiple sources to surface insights, identify risks or gaps, and drive continuous optimisation.
  • Maintain strong in-stock health through accurate demand planning and close collaboration with clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for your client portfolio, ensuring proactive, clear communication on performance, risks, opportunities, and priorities.
  • Build trusted relationships and deliver recommendations that drive long-term success.
  • Lead multiple initiatives simultaneously, delivering high-quality work on time.
  • Identify ways to streamline and automate processes to scale account management operations.

What You’ll Bring

  • 2–3 years’ experience in ecommerce, Amazon, or digital marketing (Amazon experience highly regarded).
  • Client or account management experience in an agency environment highly regarded.
  • Strong analytical skills, with confidence in Excel/Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, analysis).
  • Skilled communicator and presenter with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Creative thinker and proactive problem solver.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Resilient and confident, with the ability to navigate change and shifting priorities.
  • Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn quickly.

Our Values

  • Game Changer – Challenges the status quo and drives innovation.
  • Data Fanatic – Uses data to diagnose problems and inform decisions.
  • Partner Obsessed – Listens deeply, communicates clearly, and exceeds expectations.
  • Team of Doers – Takes initiative, supports teammates, and delivers results.

Ready to accelerate your career with the world’s #1 Amazon seller? Join us at Pattern as we enter our post-IPO growth phase and help shape the future of marketplace success for global brands.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
