Job Description

As our Alliances Director you will be responsible for driving strategic partnerships and alliances that unlock new business opportunities for NEXTDC in the areas of AI and DC solutions deployments.  

Being successful in this role demands a high level of creativity, strategic thinking, troubleshooting abilities as well as leadership skills; having these will see you spearheading top-tier partnership initiatives while working cross-functionally with our Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Legal teams. You need to be flexible enough for the C-level strategic conversations as well as rolling up your sleeves creating relationships and working on deals.  

Within this role you will: 

  • Design, develop and execute a comprehensive alliance strategy aligned with our business objectives and growth priorities.  

  • Negotiate and structure mutually beneficial alliance agreements, including revenue targets,  co-selling arrangements, and joint marketing initiatives. 

  • Define and document win/win strategies  

  • Develop and implement alliance-specific go-to-market strategies, including co-selling motions, demand generation campaigns, and joint value propositions.  

  • Develop and execute joint marketing programs, including co-branded collateral, webinars, events, and thought leadership content.  

About you: 

Your proven commercial experience will see you bringing: 

  • Demonstrated history of growing multi-level strategic business relationships to the mutual benefit of both parties 

  • The ability to identify opportunities and bring diverse teams together to purse a common goal 

  • Exceptional networking skills and the ability to build a solid contact base  

  • Solid knowledge of ICT and related idustriues, selling SW/HW Solutions and associated services 

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities  

  • Strong desire to succeed with passion and energy  

  • A demonstrated ability to negotiate, consult and deliver quality service  

  • Ability to work with and present to C-level executives 

  • Demonstrated successful history of working with the likes of NVIDIA, Dell, Cisco, Lenovo and others 

 

Qualifications

  • Experience in the management of business relationships with alliances or partners in a customer-facing role.  

  • At least 10 years selling experience to organisations that utilise IT Infrastructure as a major component of their business model  

  • At least 10 years selling experience within industries that deal with Information Technology, Software, Hardware, Solutions and associated Services, Cloud Computing and Connectivity.  

  • Proven track records in selling within a complex selling environment with quotas exceeding $10M and an average sales cycle of at least 6 months.
