Your New Role

Are you a software engineer who builds AI solutions that move beyond experimentation and deliver real outcomes at enterprise scale?

We're hiring AI Software Engineers at both the Mid and Senior levels to join our AI & Automation team. These are hands-on, pro-code engineering roles where you'll design, build, integrate and productionise enterprise-grade AI and agentic solutions using technologies including Python, .NET/C#, Azure AI Foundry and Azure AI services.

This isn't about configuring proof of concepts in Copilot. You'll apply strong software engineering disciplines to build secure, reliable and maintainable AI solutions that operate within real business processes, working across areas such as AI agents, orchestration, automation of complex workflows, RAG, APIs and enterprise integrations.  If you don’t already have this experience, this isn’t for you.

At the Senior level, you'll bring greater ownership of engineering builds and technical decisions, while providing coaching and mentoring to help strengthen engineering capability across the team.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, test and productionise enterprise-grade AI and agentic solutions using Python, .NET/C# and Azure.
• Develop AI agents, RAG capabilities, orchestration workflows, APIs and integrations with enterprise systems.
• Engineer solutions for production, including automated testing, CI/CD, observability, security, resilience and ongoing support.
• Partner across product, architecture, cyber security, data, platforms and business teams to turn complex problems into scalable solutions.
• Apply responsible AI, privacy, security and governance principles throughout the engineering lifecycle.
• For Senior opportunities, own significant technical outcomes and provide engineering guidance, coaching and mentoring.

What You'll Need

• Strong commercial software engineering experience, with hands-on experience building and deploying production applications in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong pro-code development capability in Python and/or .NET/C#, within an Azure AI Platform environment, alongside solid software engineering fundamentals.
• Practical experience engineering AI-enabled or agentic applications, ideally within enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Generative AI patterns including LLMs, RAG, embeddings/vector search, tool or function calling and orchestration.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• For the Senior AI Software Engineer opportunity, deeper production AI engineering experience alongside the ability to own engineering solution design, builds, influence technical decisions and coach others.

Highly regarded:

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI.
• Experience with cloud-native engineering, containers and infrastructure as code.
• Azure DevOps or GitHub-based delivery experience.
• Experience engineering AI solutions within regulated or security-conscious environments.
• Knowledge of Responsible AI, privacy, cyber security and AI governance.
