AI is reshaping professional services, and few organisations are moving as fast as Findex. We’re hiring an AI & Digital Tools Adoption Lead to own how AI gets used across our client-facing teams, at one of Australasia’s largest accounting, advisory and wealth firms: 2,500 people, 100+ offices.

You’ll shape how Findex competes in an AI-enabled future, freeing our people from execution-heavy work so they can focus on what really adds value for clients.
*This is a 12-month max term opportunity available in Sydney or Melbourne.

The role

This isn't a training design role, and it's not a back-office IT function. You'll be the go-to expert on ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot and AskDex — helping Audit, Tax, Advisory and Wealth teams turn AI potential into real client outcomes.

You'll:

  • Be the subject matter expert powering AI enablement across the business
  • Build a library of proven use cases: audit automation, tax research, advisory insights, and more
  • Lead our AI user community: Q&A, show-and-tell sessions
  • Track adoption and impact, and report results to executive leadership
  • Build AI agents and workflows that solve real business problems
  • Keep everything aligned to governance, risk and responsible AI standards

What you'll bring

  • Deep hands-on expertise with enterprise AI tools: prompt engineering, agent building, workflow automation
  • A track record of driving AI adoption in a large organisation
  • Confidence explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong influence skills - you can move people without direct authority
  • Experience in professional services or a regulated industry (highly regarded)
  • Change management certification, e.g. PROSCI (highly regarded)

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
