Job DescriptionWe are seeking professional, organised and enthusiastic individuals to provide administrative assistance to our Pre-Admissions Ward and Front Office. Permanent full-time opportunities available.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Process patient payments over the phone
- Maintain and department balance spreadsheets as required (e.g. banking)
- Undertake daily banking, accounts payable and debt collection functions when required
- Sort, scan and file all mail and paperwork and documentation relating to assessment or payment of patient invoices
- Efficient and accurate data entry of patient pre-admission prior to their admission
- Processing of patient confirmation letters for future admissions as required
- Process incoming correspondence and action as required
- Assistance in confirmation calls to next day admission patients

Essential Criteria
- Previous experience in a customer service-related area
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
as required - Strong customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong keyboard and computer skills using the MS Office programs
- Able to complete tasks within designated timeframes
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience in hospital administration
- Knowledge and understanding of health funds, policies and related
contracts - Certificate in Medical Terminology
- Experience in hospital mainframe systems
- Previous experience in accounting related roles

Remuneration: An hourly rate of $30.43 - $31.73 + superannuation, based on experience.
Additional Information- Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
- According to the role, Ramsay may require proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
