- Lead, inspire and develop high-performing onshore and offshore Accounts Payable teams.
- Create a customer-focused AP function that delivers outstanding service to suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation and process transformation initiatives.
- Strengthen governance, controls and compliance across the end-to-end procure-to-pay process.
- Partner closely with Procurement, Finance, Shared Services and business leaders to improve outcomes across the organisation.
- Lead initiatives that enhance working capital performance and support free cash flow objectives.
- Act as the key escalation point for complex payment, supplier, travel and expense-related matters.
- Deliver meaningful reporting and business insights that support operational and financial decision-making.
- Support audits, reconciliations and financial compliance activities while maintaining best-practice controls.
- Help shape the future of Accounts Payable by introducing smarter ways of working and leveraging new technologies.
What you'll need to be successful.
- Proven experience leading Accounts Payable, Shared Services or Finance Operations teams.
- A passion for coaching, developing and empowering people to do their best work.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence across multiple business functions.
- Demonstrated success driving process improvement, transformation or automation initiatives.
- Strong commercial thinking with an understanding of working capital, cash flow and financial controls.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or similar enterprise platforms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
- CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification is highly regarded.
