About the Role 
As the Accounts Manager, you'll lead our revenue and receivable account's function and bring strong structure to how revenue is controlled, recorded and reported across the business. You'll lead a team of two, a Trust Account Manager and an Accounts Administrator, and ensure receivables are managed tightly and the processes behind them are clear, documented and followed. This role is ideal for an experienced finance professional who enjoys ownership, values accuracy and wants to shape how a respected business runs its accounts. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Oversee revenue recognition and accounts receivable across all offices. 
  • Manage debtor follow up and reduce aged receivables. 
  • Lead, develop and support the Trust Account Manager and Accounts Administrator. 
  • Write, review and maintain finance policies and procedures. 
  • Prepare reconciliations, reports and analysis for leadership. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve and automate manual processes. 
  • Work with office leaders and operations to resolve account queries. 
  • Contribute to a collaborative, high performing workplace culture. 

 

Skills, Experience & Qualities 

  • Proven experience in revenue and accounts receivable control. 
  • Experience leading or supervising a small team. 
  • A track record of building and embedding policies and procedures. 
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data. 
  • High attention to detail and sound judgement. 
  • Clear, confident communication with people at all levels. 
  • A tertiary qualification in accounting or finance is well regarded.
