As an Account Manager, you will manage day-to-day execution, drive commercial outcomes, and ensure operational excellence as we expand doors and elevate brand presence across the region. You’ll work cross‑functionally to deliver seamless account management, insight‑led planning, and exceptional service to our retail partners. 

This position is ideal for a commercially minded, analytical, and detail‑oriented professional who is passionate about building strong customer relationships and contributing to a high‑performance sales team. 

Responsibilities: 

Account Management & Customer Support 

  • Manage day-to-day operations for Key Account, ensuring strong communication flow, timely responses, and flawless execution. 

  • Handle key account inquiries efficiently, escalating issues where appropriate to ensure rapid resolution. 

  • Build and maintain strong external relationships with key contacts across national accounts, fostering trust, transparency, and partnership. 

Sales Execution & Commercial Analysis 

  • Conduct commercial and sales analysis to support strategic planning, assortment decisions, and partner growth strategies. 

  • Prepare and maintain sales forecasts, order books, and business reports to inform decision‑making and improve accuracy. 

  • Support the build and execution of sales plans, including product launches, promotional campaigns, and seasonal activations. 

Operational Excellence & Administration 

  • Maintain and update customer records, account notes, and pipelines within the CRM system to ensure accurate and up‑to‑date information. 

  • Provide administrative support across sales processes, operational tasks, and reporting cycles. 

  • Complete weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting including category analysis, sell-through tracking, and performance recaps. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Partner closely with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Planning, and Customer Service to deliver seamless account execution. 

  • Coordinate with Marketing and Trade Marketing teams to support in-store point‑of‑sale, promotional activity, and brand activation. 

  • Deliver product training and retail education to partner teams to strengthen product knowledge and brand advocacy. 

Market Insights & Category Understanding 

  • Monitor competitor activity, category trends, and consumer insights to inform strategic planning and highlight opportunities. 

  • Prepare insight‑led presentations and materials for internal reviews and external customer meetings. 

 

Qualifications and Attributes: 

  • 4+ years of experience in Account Management or a similar commercial role; FMCG, retail, outdoor, or consumer goods experience highly regarded. 

  • Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills and confidence working with commercial data. 

  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to build strong, collaborative relationships internally and externally. 

  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through. 

  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative. 

  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) preferred but not required. 

  • A positive, collaborative attitude that contributes to a healthy, high-performing team culture.
