About the role  

Reporting to the Associate Sales Manager, you will manage key customer accounts, deliver contracted services, support technical water treatment programs, and identify opportunities to grow existing business. The role combines commercial account management with practical, site-based technical work. The role is approximately 70% Victoria-based and 30% FIFO travel to remote South Australian sites, including periods of up to 8 days away from home.

Key responsibilities

  •  Manage and grow existing customer accounts
  • Conduct customer reviews and provide technical reports
  • Perform water sampling, testing and system monitoring
  • Maintain and calibrate water treatment and dosing equipment
  • Support safety, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and technical support

What you need to be successful

  • Experience in account management, industrial services or a related technical field
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Hands-on mechanical, maintenance, plumbing or trade skills
  • Experience with boilers, cooling towers or water treatment systems (desirable)
  • Strong organisational and reporting skills
  • A commitment to safety and compliance
  • A current driver's licence
  • Qualifications in Chemistry, Science, Engineering or a trade (highly regarded)
