Purpose of this role:
As the Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and nurturing client relationships while supporting the Senior Key Account Managers with day-to-day account management tasks. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to start or grow their career in account management, develop strong communication skills, and learn from a collaborative team.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in managing a portfolio of existing client accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Serve and assist as a primary & secondary point of contact for assigned clients, addressing inquiries and providing solutions in a timely manner.
- Support Key Account Managers in preparing reports, presentations, and account reviews.
- Own the internal processes for the accounts and support the key account manager.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including presales engineering, supply chain, and project delivery, to ensure client needs are met.
- Contribute to the strategic account plans of the set accounts supporting the KAM.
- Conduct account research and mapping of accounts.
- Support Key account manager with contract reviews and negotiations.
- Monitor client accounts to identify opportunities and help expand relationships.
- Assist in RFQs and negotiations as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and update CRM systems.
- Help identify potential areas for process improvement in client management.
- Attend client meetings (virtually or in person) alongside Senior Key Account Managers.
- Support bid management teams with project kick offs, tender review documentation and submission documents are to a high standard.

Specialist Knowledge:
2-5 years of experience in sales, customer service, or account management.
Practical Experience:
- High level of computer literacy skills.
- Ability to track opportunities and familiar with CRM tools
Education/Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred but not required).
- Must have the right to live and work permanently in Australia

- High level of Time management skills and follow up.
- Ability to build relationships with clients quickly.
