Your (Future) Role & Team

As an Account Manager, you’ll play a critical role in driving Net Revenue Retention (NRR) across an existing portfolio of Clients using our Collect product, within the VIC Region.

Owning commercial outcomes post-sale for Collect customers, you'll focus on contract renewals, value-led upsell, and product adoption, ensuring customers realise ongoing value from CreditorWatch’s solutions while strengthening long-term retention and new product adoption. You'll aim to proactively demonstrate how CreditorWatch continues to benefit businesses.

Once you find your feet in the role, you’ll need to implement various account management strategies focusing on the upselling and cross-selling of existing and new products, training, support and regular check-ins and contact.

These roles offer hybrid working conditions out of Melbourne CBD office.

Some of your responsibilities include and are not limited to:

  • Identify, negotiate and close new business opportunities within an existing portfolio of approximately 160 customers + up to 20 new clients per month, to drive net growth of your customer portfolio.
  • Own new customer set-up, onboarding, adoption and ongoing training of new users and existing customers
  • Own contract renewals, including renewal conversations, pricing discussions and contract execution.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers – understanding their needs and goals to provide tailored solutions, clearly articulating product value with our Collect product.
  • Responding to customers' needs and requirements in a timely fashion.
  • Maintaining correct and updated knowledge of company products and services.
  • Resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by improving process.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions and share with customers to position the company as a strategic partner.
  • Maintaining strong CRM hygiene to support accurate forecasting of renewals and expansion activity.
Our ideal candidate

To be successful in the role, you’ll ideally have at least 3+ years sales experience as an Account Manager within the tech/ SaaS space, managing a portfolio of 100 - 200 customers.

You’ll take a relationship-focused approach with customers, showcasing your amazing problem solving, active listening and communication skills. Experience working in shorter sales-cycles of 2 weeks and under would be a huge advantage.

You’ll build a strong understanding of CreditorWatch’s products and communicate their value to customers, helping you achieve positive outcomes.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
