Here at Workday, our Account Executives are key players in our Field Sales organization. With a net new revenue focus, you will be partnering specifically with professional services organizations in the Medium Enterprise space, guiding them away from the limitations of legacy systems and toward a smarter way to work in the cloud.
As a team, we believe that in partnering with our customers to craft relevant solutions that deliver long lasting value is super important. We want to make sure that our customers are positively satisfied from day one and forever ongoing.
In this role, you will:
Drive net-new growth: Develop a sharp strategy for prioritizing, targeting, and closing key new business opportunities within the professional services sector.
Win as a team: Perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre-sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment
Share the Workday value: Initiate and support the sales of Workday solutions to Medium Enterprise prospects, clearly demonstrating how we solve their unique industry challenges
Own your business: Maintain accurate and timely data for new prospects, pipeline development, and service forecasts
About You
Basic Qualifications
SaaS/Cloud Sales Experience: 4+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud-based ERP, HCM, Financial, Planning, or Analytics solutions to C-level executives, ideally within the professional services or consulting sector.
Executive Negotiation: 4+ years of experience confidently navigating and closing complex deals with C-Suite leaders, executives, and firm partners.
Pipeline Generation: 4+ years of using a programmatic, strategic approach to generate and develop net-new leads within your territory.
Other Qualifications
High-Velocity Success: A proven track record in a fast-paced sales cycle, including the drive to proactively prospect and build out a portion of your own net-new opportunities.
Industry Expertise: A strong understanding of the competitive landscape within the professional services industry, staying ahead of trends and customer needs so you can effectively position Workday's value to consulting firms.
Team Collaboration: Experience partnering seamlessly with internal team members to build winning account strategies (because we believe in winning as a team).
Authentic Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build trust and connect authentically with your customers.
