ABOUT THE ROLE
The Account Director at Hogarth is a critical role that ensures all of Hogarth's Content Production engagements with clients are effective, profitable and harmonious.
The role is responsible for client relationships, maintaining oversight of the client team and building relationships with relevant stakeholders.
With sound understanding of content and production, the Account Director contributes to change management, ensuring smooth operations of Hogarth’s business with clients in their remit, while delivering alignment to budgets and established Ways of Working.
At their core, the Account Director will have a proven track record of effective client management, have knowledge of industry best-practice, be operationally sound and have strong commercial acumen.
Reporting lines and key stakeholders
This role reports to the Managing Director, and will actively collaborate with key stakeholders across the Creative & Content Studios departments
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Oversee the content production team responsible for local adaptation and roll-out of global integrated and social communications content for some of the world's largest global beauty brands
- Establish strong relationships with both internal and external / Client stakeholders, ensuring perceptions and expectations at set at a high level
- Act as point of contact for escalation for both the client as well as the local & regional agency teams, resolving problems quickly and communicating effectively
- Work on adaptation campaign works in collaboration with the relevant departments
- Action new business opportunities (under direction of MD), and ensure business operations are managed smoothly
- Work closely with Country Lead on client financials, including forecasting, budgeting, cost estimates and retainer reconciliation
- Develop and maintain understanding of all agency & client contractual obligations, commercial arrangements and SLAs
- Liaise with different internal teams on specified client requirements and resolve client issues/complaints to the satisfaction of primary client & agency stakeholders
- Champions an effective client / agency relationship at all levels of stakeholder engagement
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Experience working in a client management focused role within advertising or content/production environments, likely to have at least 5 years experience
- Interest and/or experience in managing advertising and communications projects for brands in the beauty and skincare brand category
- Knowledge of client business operations and change management highly desirable
- Knowledge of new business process and activities desirable
- Focus on continuous improvements, delivering excellent quality and high levels of customer service
- Strong understanding of production processes across integrated and social advertising
- Commercial acumen
- Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills
- High levels of attention to detail and an eye for producing quality work
- Comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines
