What It's Like to Work at Rula

It's an honor to be a representative at Rula. In a world where so many experience isolation and wounding on their journey, Rula creates authentic opportunities for growth and connection for all of their clients, providers, and team members.

Working at Rula has been the highlight of my professional life. The virtuous mission and the genuine passion that the whole team shares speaks volumes about the company culture and the people within it.

We're a 100% remote company and spread across the entire US. We create Slack channels for each new city and add new employees in that city as they join, creating local connection as we quickly scale! We're also doing company-paid networking lunches for our employees and get to know you sessions with our Providers to build community!

I enjoy working at Rula because we make a difference in people's lives on a regular basis, including my friends and family. If you know how hard it is to find an available local therapist who takes your insurance, you know how meaningful our work is, and I'm proud of that.

Even though I've never been busier in my life, I know no other way but giving time for my team or anyone else at the company. My team knows they can reach out and I'll respond promptly. I'm all about impromptu zoom calls and holding 1:1s with people who don't directly report to me; it's important to stay connected at all levels of the company.

I love working on intellectually challenging projects with a talented team, knowing that all of the work we do is helping more patients get access to mental health treatment.

What I enjoy most about my role is the opportunity to work with such a strong and supportive team. I truly love the people I work with, and the cross-functional nature of our work means I get to partner with teams across the organization on a daily basis.
