Advises senior leaders on global trade and export-control compliance across Defence operations. Investigates compliance matters, drives corrective actions, develops policies and training, manages risk assessments and audits, oversees permits and licences, supports supplier screening, monitors regulatory changes, and translates requirements into practical governance. The role requires Australian citizenship, the ability to obtain an NV1 clearance, and expertise in export/import controls, customs, freight, DSGL, USML, and CCL classifications.

Provides strategic and operational HR advice to leaders and employees across the employee lifecycle. Responsibilities include employee relations, investigations, workforce planning, HRIS processes, talent and succession planning, remuneration, engagement, learning initiatives, reporting, policy interpretation, and organisational change. The role builds stakeholder relationships, supports compliant workplace practices, and contributes to people programs under a 12-month fixed-term contract.
