Operate and troubleshoot automated equipment across mRNA vaccine manufacturing, formulation, packaging, and product release activities. Follow cGMP, SOPs, safety, and documentation requirements; support investigations, root cause analysis, CAPA, quality activities, equipment maintenance, and continuous improvement. Collaborate cross-functionally to meet operational KPIs and maintain batch compliance. This onsite role requires rotating afternoon and night shifts, weekends, public holidays, overtime, and schedule flexibility in a 24/7 facility.

Owns, supports, and continuously improves critical automation and digital manufacturing systems at Moderna’s Clayton site. Responsibilities include configuring and testing Emerson DeltaV, MES, PLC/SCADA, historian, and OT systems; troubleshooting integrations; leading upgrades and lifecycle activities; supporting commissioning, validation, GMP/GAMP, investigations, CAPAs, and change controls; and collaborating with manufacturing, quality, engineering, IT/OT, validation, and vendors. The role also explores emerging technologies such as Generative AI in regulated manufacturing.

Provide QA oversight for equipment, process, and laboratory validation across drug product manufacturing. Lead review and approval of validation documentation, investigations, CAPAs, and change controls. Support technology transfer, inspection readiness, and coach cross-functional teams on GMP, risk-based decision making, and quality systems.
