Teams at Maincode

Deploy Matilda and Maincode’s AI product suite into enterprise environments. The role requires an engineering-minded builder with strong product judgment and commercial awareness who is passionate about Australian-made technology and executing at the frontier of AI.

Graduate software engineers will contribute across any layer of Maincode’s production AI system, Matilda. Responsibilities may include supporting model training, inference, and infrastructure. Candidates should research the company and explain how they can contribute to building world-class Australian-made AI. Previous industry experience, including internships, is advantageous but not required.

The Founding Investment Associate will source Australian frontier AI startups, evaluate early-stage ventures, assess technical and commercial potential, write investment theses, and support founders. The role also involves building the fund’s deal-flow tracking and due-diligence processes, developing back-office systems, and helping portfolio companies overcome operational challenges. Candidates should have venture capital experience, strong AI fluency, high agency, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
