What's the Work-Life Balance Like at CodePath.org?

CodePath.org Employee Reviews

My workday at CodePath begins at 6:00 a.m. — not because that's a designated start time, but because it's the start time I've set for myself. I work a bit, drop the kids off, come back, work some more. I usually end around 4 or 5, depending on how much I've completed. I love that I set and manage my own schedule. No micromanaging, no tracking to ensure I'm online at specified times. The ownership I have over my schedule — one that works with my life — is what makes CodePath a sustainable place to work.

The culture doesn't penalize you for protecting your time. When I say I'm unavailable, that's respected. It's less about formal policy and more about the norm — people here are pretty direct about their own boundaries, which makes it easier to set yours.
