Design, build, and improve Canva’s observability platforms, data pipelines, and tooling. Lead technical decisions, optimize metrics and continuous profiling systems, improve monitoring and visualization experiences, and promote observability best practices across engineering. The role involves developing SDKs, operating highly reliable distributed systems, and collaborating cross-functionally to support scalable, high-throughput infrastructure and production reliability.

Owns end-to-end developer tooling and infrastructure solutions for large-scale engineering teams. Builds self-service platforms, CLIs, automation, CI/CD systems, build and test infrastructure, release tooling, monitoring, and developer workflows for Python and Java engineers. Partners with backend, platform, and infrastructure teams, uses telemetry to prioritize improvements, and contributes through documentation, technical talks, and mentorship.

Build Android development tooling, device orchestration, CLI tools, mobile test automation frameworks, and CI/CD quality gates. Collaborate with infrastructure and developer experience teams to unify mobile workflows, improve testing practices, establish triage and monitoring systems, and mentor engineers. The role focuses on mobile platform reliability, scalable developer experience, synthetic and integration testing, and proactive regression detection across Android development.
