In this role, you’ll provide data‑driven insights, workforce forecasts, and scenario modelling to support strategic and operational decision‑making in a dynamic retail environment.

This is a highly collaborative role, partnering closely with Retail Operations, Finance, HR, and Talent Acquisition to deliver workforce solutions aligned to trading patterns and business objectives.

How You’ll Shape Our Workforce

  • Develop and maintain workforce plans aligned to strategy, sales forecasts, and trading patterns.
  • Forecast labour requirements for peak periods and major trading events.
  • Model workforce impacts of store changes, trading hours, and network growth.
  • Support labour budgeting and workforce cost management.
  • Analyse workforce and labour metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Deliver clear dashboards, reports, and insights to leaders.
  • Provide workforce insights to support effective scheduling and rostering.
  • Identify critical roles, skill gaps, and future capability needs.
  • Continuously improve workforce planning tools, processes, and methodologies

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Proven experience in workforce planning, and workforce analytics,
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with a sharp eye for detail
  • Advanced capability in Excel and workforce analytics tools such as Power BI or workforce planning systems
  • Confidence working with large and complex datasets to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • The ability to translate data into clear, compelling insights that drive better decisions.
  • A solution‑focused mindset, balancing customer experience, cost efficiency, and workforce capability
  • You’re someone who enjoys improving how things are done, collaborating across teams, and using insight to shape smarter workforce decisions that genuinely make an impact.
  • You’re a curious, commercially minded workforce planning professional who enjoys making sense of complex data and turning it into practical, real‑world outcomes.
