Human Resources (HR) plays a vital role in supporting our organisation, and the breadth of our function is significant: talent acquisition, performance and remuneration, learning and organisational development, talent management, diversity and culture, workplace relations, and Business Unit HR advice and support. The role will sit in the Core Business Solutions team; our role is to provide and build innovative solutions to meet business requirements and deliver a great end to end employee experience.
Responsibilities:
Using your Workday knowledge, you will work with stakeholders to understand their business requirements. This may include working with subject matter experts and technical teams to understand dependencies and ensure an end-to-end view has been considered
Translate business requirements into functional solutions using your knowledge of system capabilities, limitations and interplay of systems and processes
Document solutions into an options paper for business review and approval
Prototype Workday changes; including test script writing, execution and analysis of the results
Provide support to HR Direct and business owners in troubleshooting issues and identifying root causes
Analyse system release documentation, explore new/changed functionality and make recommendations on potential adoption
Continuously seek to maintain and develop your own and your colleagues’ understanding of processes and functionality across the Platform
Continuously identify risks and controls across the Platform we support
To be successful in this role you must have:
3+ Years of experience in configuring Workday to business requirements, preferably in areas of Core HCM, Recruitment, Advanced Compensation and Time & Absence OR
4+ Years of experience in a HRIS techno-functional role supporting PeopleSoft or SuccessFactors
Experience working in Agile environments and using tools such as Jira and Confluence
Strong business analysis skills including the ability to write and communicate effectively
Ability to work with competing priorities with strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Background in HR systems, processes and policies
