The Website Product Owner is responsible for the performance and ongoing enhancement of Eightcap's website to ensure an exceptional customer experience. This role involves defining and executing the website's roadmap and prioritising requirements based on stakeholder needs and data-driven insights. The Web Product Owner will be a key leader in creating a "test and learn" performance culture, working with cross-functional teams to deliver on business objectives and increase conversion rates.
Key Responsibilities
- Website Leadership: Act as the product owner for the global Eightcap website, which is built on the latest headless Content Management System (CMS) technology.
- Roadmap and Strategy: Develop and deliver the website roadmap in close collaboration with marketing business partners.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Gather stakeholder requirements, prioritise them to create the product backlog, and work closely with business partners to ensure successful project delivery.
- Content and Analytics: Be involved with content creation and use analytics to measure and report on success and achievement of business objectives.
- Team Management: Manage a Growth and Optimisation Specialist to ensure proper tagging and measurement of the website's performance, including campaign landing pages, partner pages, and product pages, to optimise conversion rates.
- Performance and Optimisation: Drive a "test and learn" performance culture by applying a data-driven approach to define and validate the product backlog. Use various data sources and both qualitative and quantitative customer insights to continuously improve the user experience.
- Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO): Increase goal conversion rates for key content and digital marketing user journeys through CRO techniques, A/B and multivariate (MV) testing, and strong UX design principles.
- Campaign Delivery: Collaborate with marketing business partners, the media performance team, and the internal creative team to deliver effective acquisition and retention campaigns.
- Search Engine Optimisation (SEO): Take responsibility for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and geo-search drivers across the entire website
Requirements
Essential:
- Proven experience as a Web Product Owner or similar role.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and managing website roadmaps and backlogs.
- Strong understanding of CRO techniques, A/B testing, and UX design principles.
- Experience with analytics platforms and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Experience in a leadership role, including managing direct reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with headless CMS technology.
- Experience in SEO and geo-search strategies.
