The Opportunity


As a Visual Content Designer, you will work closely with content writers and production teams to produce high-quality visual designs for educational materials. Your work will span animated and static visual design content, ensuring that complex concepts are communicated effectively. You'll create engaging visuals that assist student learning, deliver high-quality work efficiently, and reinforce our brand.


What you'll do

  • Create and deliver high-quality visual content that delights our customers, meets company objectives, and reinforces our brand identity.
  • Ability to take complex concepts and communicate them simply through engaging visuals and content. Use your creativity to make learning enjoyable and accessible for students without sacrificing academic rigour.
  • Design with systems and scalability in mind, where graphic elements, illustrations, animations and layout templates can be re-used and built to scale.
  • Manage your workload effectively and efficiently by prioritising tasks, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Content Creators to develop visual designs for online courses, including videos, imagery, and written content.
  • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and Design Reviews to contribute to the Visual Content Design team's culture of excellence.

What you'll bring to Atomi

  • A deep understanding of design principles and strong visual design skills relating to layout, colour, typography, imagery and graphic organisers.
  • Ability to create visually cohesive and compelling designs.
  • Proficiency with design and video editing softwares, as well as project management tools.
  • Proficiency in designing for digital mediums such as video and images for web-based platforms.
  • Ability to work within Atomi’s established brand guidelines and contribute to their development.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate design concepts clearly.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Graduated in a physics-related degree or hands-on industry experience in a physics-related role.
  • A passion for teaching and education with a strong knowledge of high school-level Science.
