Job Description
Bosch Automotive Service Solutions (BASS) is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and detail orientated Undergraduate Finance & Operations Analytics Student to join our BASS team on a full-time basis for 12-months commencing January 2025.
This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in analysing financial and operational data to support strategic business decisions. The student will work closely with the Finance and Operations teams, contributing to data-driven insights, process improvements, and performance optimization.
Some of the tasks that you will undertake with us include:
- Collaborating with the Finance and Operations teams to gather, clean, and analyse data from various sources.
- Assisting in the creation and maintenance of financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making.
- Performing variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in operational and financial performance.
- Supporting the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards for monitoring business performance.
- Assisting in process automation efforts to improve efficiency and accuracy in data management.
- Preparing reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management.
- Participating in special projects, including cost analysis, operational efficiency assessments, and financial scenario planning.
- Building sufficient knowledge of Finance and Controlling processes to provide support to the BASS team.
- Supporting accurate and timely reporting bringing transparency to the business for APS stakeholders and management.
- Supporting activities with Sales & Marketing, Logistics Planning, and Customer Service improvement projects

Qualifications
You will have excellent attention to detail, have the ability to prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines, work well with teams and have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
To be considered for our Student Program, you are required to meet the following criteria:
- Be currently enrolled in a Data Analytics / Business / Accounting / Finance / Economics Undergraduate degree
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and basic financial modelling
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn and apply new skills in a real-world business context
Preferred Experience:
- Experience or coursework in financial analysis, operational data, and business analytics.
- Prior internship or part-time experience in a related field is advantageous but not required.
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, or other data analysis languages is a plus
