UI/UX Designer
(Project-Based | Remote | Immediate Start)

We’re looking for a freelance UI/UX designer to create a clean, intuitive design for our client portal. This is a key project tied to a company milestone, and your design will guide our dev team in building the front-end using Jetadmin (jetadmin.io).

Project Goal:

We’re building a client portal to support participant recruitment for clinical trials. The goal is to deliver a seamless self-service experience for both clients and internal teams, reduce manual work, enhance reporting visibility, and increase transparency across the recruitment funnel. Your work will play a key role in supporting beta testing and ensuring a smooth rollout to users.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Designing the complete front-end interface of our web-based client portal
  • Creating wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes for developer handoff
  • Ensuring intuitive user flows, visual clarity, and consistency across all screens
  • Designing with reporting functionality in mind to meet client and internal user needs
  • Collaborating with our dev team to support implementation within Jetadmin
  • Providing occasional UI updates as new features are rolled out post-launch

You’re a Fit If You...

  • Have 3+ years of UI/UX experience focused on client portals, dashboards, or SaaS platforms (required)
  • Have a portfolio showcasing relevant, high-quality work (this is a key selection factor)
  • Are confident working independently and on tight timelines
  • Communicate well and collaborate effectively with remote team
  • Experience with Jetadmin is a plus

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
