About the role
As a Transport Analyst, you will provide analytical insights to support with improving Bunnings store fulfilment and Transport Network.
You will prepare reporting across transport operations and programs, including benchmarking and assisting to formulate logistics business cases to support strategic plans.
What's involved:
- Analyse Bunnings Logistics network with particular attention to utilisation, capacity and understanding of new network changes
- Cost modelling for Bunnings transport network demonstrating cost impacts and spend leakage, identifying ways to improve service and cost savings
- Weekly, monthly and ad hoc reporting to understand any variations in performance
- Analytical problem solving and system planning to identify opportunities for improvement
Who we’re looking for
You’ll bring strong commercial and financial acumen, coupled with analytical and modelling skills. From your experience, you’ll have a good understanding of Supply Chain and Logistics which will allow you to understand business requirements and objectives across the network.
You’ll be an excellent communicator, who is able to effectively translate complex data and information into understandable and actionable insights for your business stakeholders.
You’ll need:
- Demonstrated experience in an analytical role across either commercial or supply chain
- Advanced excel skills and hands on experience with using business analytics tools such as Power BI
- Understanding of key cost drivers in a transport network
- Tertiary qualifications in Statistics, Commercial or Supply Chain would be advantageous
- Experience developing and presenting business cases
- Well developed organisation and planning skills
