Job Description

The TOSCA Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions using Tricentis TOSCA. This role focuses on ensuring high-quality delivery across software development projects by implementing robust testing frameworks, maintaining automation assets, and driving continuous improvement in testing practices. The engineer works closely with QA analysts, developers, business stakeholders, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable, reusable, and efficient automation solutions.

The TOSCA Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions using Tricentis TOSCA across UI, API, and end‑to‑end testing scenarios. This role involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams to understand requirements, build robust automation frameworks, and support continuous testing within Agile delivery environments. The engineer will execute and optimise automated test suites, analyse results, troubleshoot defects, and ensure seamless integration of automation into CI/CD pipelines. They will contribute to test planning and estimation, maintain documentation, uphold quality standards, and drive continuous improvement by adopting best practices, enhancing automation coverage, and ensuring scalability and reusability of test assets.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with TOSCA..
  • Strong understanding of TOSCA Modules, TestCases, Test Data Management, Test Execution, and TOSCA Commander.
  • Experience with API automation using TOSCA API Scan.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
  • Good knowledge of software testing concepts, SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum.
  • Experience with SQL, XML, JSON, and debugging techniques.
  • Knowledge of test management tools (qTest, Zephyr, Xray, etc.).
