About the role 
 

We are seeking a Test Lead with test management experience to provide strategic guidance, undertake detailed planning, define the scope of testing, estimate effort, determine resource and environment requirements, and perform hands-on test scripting and execution as necessary.

Day-to-day, you will: 
 

  • Provide Test management across large scale programs/projects. 

  • Liaise with project stakeholders to engage in testing activities. 

  • Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all processes and procedures for testing established as per standards defined within the Enterprise Test Strategy. 

  • Resource planning and ongoing management of team structure. 

  • Analyse business requirements and keep track of requirement changes. 

  • Track timely delivery of planned milestones. 

  • Management and lead of teams both onshore and/or offshore. 

  • Provide accurate estimates for all project testing activities across different delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid). 

  • Create / provide input into Test Strategies. 

  • Create Tests Plans 

  • Work with the Project / Delivery Manager to assess how the Test Plan fits with the Project Plan. 

  • Communicate status to stakeholders through an effective reporting process. 

  • Ensure Testing produces the highest quality of Platform solutions and key risks, defects, performance gaps are highlighted and mitigated. 

  • Engage/interact with 3rd party vendors in testing to ensure delivery as per design specifications and governance processes. 

  • Assess Quality risks, implement appropriate controls. 

 
 

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferable skills and experiences, including: 
 

  • Tertiary education - Bachelor Computing/Engineering/Science /Technology or equivalent full-time industry experience.  

  • Proven Test Lead with test management-level experience on large-scale projects and programs. 

  • Experience in driving Quality Engineering processes uptake – highly desirable. 

  • Experience working with Testing tools and technology qTest, Tosca, JIRA/Confluence. 

  • Possess in-depth experience in all areas of the SDLC/STLC. 

  • Strong Software testing background with experience in all test levels, various Testing Methodologies (Agile, V-Model, Waterfall and Hybrid). 

  • Strong analytic, innovative and strategic thinking competencies are required to develop solutions that add value while balancing that potential value against the risks with changing these mission-critical systems. 

  • Extensive Testing & Test Leadership experience with several 3rd parties & co-dep systems. 

  • Team player with a flexible approach. 

  • Results focused, positive Can-Do attitude. 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively with stakeholders at all levels including the management of direct reports. 

  • Good analytical and problem solving skills.
