Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Test Lead to support a large-scale digital insurance initiative. This role is ideal for someone who can combine leadership with execution, driving end-to-end testing across customer-facing digital platforms while actively contributing to delivery in a fast-paced, agile environment.

The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for validating the digital front-end experience, ensuring high-quality releases through strong test strategy, effective coordination, and close collaboration with cross-functional squads.

The role involves defining and executing test strategies, leading and mentoring a team of testers, and remaining hands-on with functional, integration, and exploratory testing as needed. You will work closely with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage, coordinate testing across agile squads, and manage defect identification and resolution. Additionally, the Test Lead will support release planning, provide test reporting, and ensure alignment with best practices and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Test Lead in digital or customer-facing platform environments.
  • Strong experience in end-to-end testing within agile delivery models.
  • Hands-on testing capability across functional, integration, and UI testing.
  • Exposure to digital platforms (web/mobile applications).
  • Experience leading and mentoring testing teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong understanding of test strategy, planning, and execution.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple teams/squads and manage competing priorities.
  • Experience in general insurance or financial services is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to insurance platforms (e.g., Guidewire) is beneficial but not essential.
