About the role:

As a Territory Manager, you will be part of our Animal Health team delivering cleaning and sanitising solutions by delivering high quality services and technologies to our dairy and poultry farm customers in Tasmania.

You will be providing value through the delivery of key projects at our customer sites, and driving sales and business development opportunities, to our farming customers through our distributors.

Preferably based in the north/north-west region of Tasmania, this role provides an excellent opportunity for a motivated and results focussed person with excellent communication skills to further develop their career.

This is a contingent/contract position for approximately 12 months, with a view of going permanent for the right candidate.

Ideally you will have:

  • Experience within the dairy/poultry farm market or agricultural retail sales

  • Technical/mechanical experience would be an advantage.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

  • An ability to take initiative and work as part of a team or alone

  • Strong organisation and problem-solving skills, coupled with a desire to succeed

  • The ability to deliver a hands-on approach to service execution and adding value

To succeed you will preferably have:

  • A passion for helping customers and selling solutions

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Strong influencing ability

  • A valid driver’s license

This role will involve state-wide travel with the occasional overnight stay.
